The post The Health Infrastructure Plan, recently published by the Department of Health and Social Care, recognised the need to radically overhaul the health infrastructure at Hillingdon Hospital and supported the Trust's ambition for a new Hillingdon Hospital. The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Head of PMO who can play a key role in the delivery of the hospital redevelopment programme, working with the Programme Director and the redevelopment team to support the development of business cases and planning for a new hospital build. The Head of PMO will ensure that excellent governance processes are in place to support delivery, oversight and assurance of the redevelopment programme to enable the development and successful delivery of the new hospital business case and supporting plans. The postholder is required to manage and support the Hillingdon Hospitals Redevelopment Programme Management Office; a major area of activity within the Trust. They will ensure implementation of best practice programme management methodology and that systems are in place to identify and manage the key risks and deliver the programme within budget. The post-holder will input to the development of the strategic, outline and full business cases for the new build and support the programme of work for the development of operational plans with clinical and corporate teams. The successful candidate We are looking for someone with an excellent knowledge of good governance requirements to support complex, multifaceted programmes as well as significant programme management experience, demonstrating a track record of applying best practice programme management methodology. The successful candidate will possess strong stakeholder engagement skills, being able to work effectively across all levels of the organisation and with key stakeholders locally, regionally and nationally. They will have exceptional written skills with extensive experience of writing reports and papers for executive level audiences. The deadline for on-line applications is midnight on 21st June 2020.
