Job Description
A vacancy has arisen in the Eden Unit for an Art Therapist to work within the inpatient eating disorder service. Applicants are invited who are motivated, enthusiastic and provide patient centred care. You should have a keen interest in offering evidence based therapy, have experience working with adults and within mental health services. The successful applicant should be able to provide therapy on a group level or a 1:1 basis. The applicant needs to demonstrate the ability to organise their work load and to provide art therapy that reflects the needs and requirement of the current patient group. The applicant will work alongside a large rich and diverse MDT. There will be opportunities to develop in this role and we are seeking to appoint an art therapist who can meet the challenges of working intensively with this patient group within a democratic therapeutic community environment with confidence.
