Job Description
NHS Grampian Aberdeenshire HSCP Inverurie area Band 6 Physiotherapist post in Intermediate Care (B5/6 run through will be considered) 36.75 hours per week.(fewer hours will be considered.) Permanent We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to work in intermediate care in Aberdeenshire. Based in Inverurie but with remit to possibly cover the surrounding area such as Huntly/Ellon/Westhill, the post holder will be expected to provide advanced physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment in intermediate care in the home setting as well as community hospital interventions. The post holder will supervise junior staff including support workers and students and be expected to work well in a multi- disciplinary and multi " agency environment. Supervision will be provided by the B7 intermediate care staff and the Team Coordinator for the Central area. This is an exciting opportunity to develop skills across a variety of complex conditions. Car availability for work purposes and a valid UK driving licence is essential for this post. NHS Grampian physiotherapy teams cover the North East of Scotland serving a region from the Cairngorms to the North Sea including Coastal Moray and Aberdeenshire. Aberdeen Royal Infirmary houses all clinical specialties with the exception of organ transplant and paediatric ICU. NHS Grampian provides healthcare for a population of 540,000 with around 40% living within Aberdeen and the remaining 60% in Aberdeenshire and Moray.
