Job Description

Applications are invited for the above post, to cover the Tower Hamlet Community Diabetes Service based at Mile End Hospital. You will be working within an enthusiastic team of Community diabetes nurse specialists and other health care professionals, providing clinical / education support for patients with both type 1 and type 2 diabetes and their carers. You will need to have good time management, organisational and communicational skills and should be able to manage a clinical caseload and work independently. We offer education/support to help with personal development At Bart's Health Community Diabetes Service, we deliver structured type 1 education; Dose Adjustment for Normal Eating (DAFNE) and type 2 education; X-Pert educational programme as well as National Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP). Bart's Health is a major teaching centre, with medical students from Queen Mary University of London, and nursing students from City and Greenwich University.
