This is an exciting opportunity for a field based Ground Investigation Monitoring Technician to join an enthusiastic team, delivering ground investigation and geotechnical services to a wide range of clients across the UK with the UK's number one testing, inspection and compliance company. Client focused and quality driven, we are a leading provider of Infrastructure Services. Now we need a field based Ground Investigation Monitoring Technician to undertake groundwater and ground gas monitoring and sampling. Salary : £highly competitive + valuable benefits About the role: This is an exciting opportunity for a field based Ground Investigation Monitoring Technician to join an enthusiastic team, delivering ground investigation and geotechnical services to a wide range of clients across the UK with the UK's number one testing, inspection and compliance company. Client focused and quality driven, we are a leading provider of Infrastructure Services. Now we need a field based Ground Investigation Monitoring Technician to undertake groundwater and ground gas monitoring and sampling. You will: * Perform groundwater and gas monitoring plus sampling of standpipes and piezometers on sites across the south of England * Perform monitoring of specialist instrumentation including vibrating wire piezometers, inclinometers, extensometers and data loggers * Act as resident technician on large sites, preparing core samples and assisting the logging engineers. * Occasional delivery / collection of consumables, samples and equipment to and from site in and around the London area. About you: We're looking for a professional, dynamic and motivated individual with ability to work alone and as part of a team. Communicative, organised, flexible and committed, you must also have: * Full and clean UK driving licence * Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. * Mobility and flexibility in a physically demanding work environment * Awareness of construction site health and safety.
