Job Description
The Industry Placement Coordinator liaises closely with students, curriculum delivery areas and employers, and has a key role in developing students to achieve their learning goals. The ideal candidate will have the ability and the communication skills to build strong relationships with employers, and have experience of new business generation, together with the knowledge of supporting and monitoring student progress. Responsibilities include: * Maintaining, reviewing and developing work placement opportunities. * Actively recruiting new employers by telemarketing, networking and canvassing to provide work placements for students. * Achieving set recruitment targets. * Supporting, monitoring and recording the progress of students in their workplace. The role involves a significant amount of visits to employer's premises; candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and ideally have their own transport.
