Job Description

Job Purpose The ICE Data Services Consolidated Feed offers cost-effective, low latency access to depth-of-market data and multi-asset content to power proprietary and 3rd party applications and desktops across the front, middle and back office. The Feed provides access to over 600 different data sources including exchanges, specialty information, and ICE proprietary content. The product manager is responsible for new content research, business prioritization of development efforts, and communication in regards to the Feed's content offerings to account teams, internal stakeholders, external data providers, and our feed customers This particular position will be based in one of our London, UK offices but will report to a Director of Product Management for Real-time Feeds based in New York, USA. Therefore the ideal candidate must be a self-starting individual capable of quickly becoming a subject matter expert and a strong presence on the ground in that Europe region. Responsibilities * Execute on the product roadmap specifically as it related to feed content in the European but also for other regions globally as those needs arise * Scope new content opportunities and prepare new requirements and business cases * Remain abreast of commercial and compliance requirements when it comes to market data content offered on Consolidated Feed * Drive prioritization and development of new content offerings on Consolidated Feed as well as important enhancements and corrections to existing offerings * Manage content launch activities with marketing & sales teams * Support commercial facing teams in client engagement and retention activities * Stay connected to important legislation and other market-impacting factors in the European region such as MIFID and Brexit Knowledge and Experience * Experience of working with market data products and services preferably in a product management or similar business type of role * Good working knowledge of real-time data providers and their offerings most importantly global exchanges. This includes a basic understanding of exchange commercial structures and common rules of data compliance * Proven ability to communicate at all levels and work effectively with business, service and technology stakeholders * Demonstrable ability to build key relationships across business divisions and product delivery groups * Drive, initiative, structured thinking, problem solving and decision making, and the ability to work unsupervised * Organization, verbal and written communication skills - both verbal and written (English) * Team player, able to work under pressure and within global virtual team Preferred * Understanding of market data logic including data models, field behavior concepts, and symbol structure * Understanding of reference data and corporate action * Understanding of entitlement systems and market data control Additional Information * Job Type: Standard * Schedule: Full-time
