The Primary school only has 27 children on average per class so is relatively small and as two forms entry school, there will be plenty of support from your fellow class teachers for planning and lesson observations. You will be helping students prepare for Year 6 SATs and Interventions. As an NQT, you will be fully supported by your mentor and SLT department to ensure you have an enjoyable and successful induction. They have a proven track record of developing NQTs into outstanding classroom teachers. As a more experienced class teacher, there are ample opportunities for CPD training, TLR, and subject leadership roles. The Head Teacher of this wonderful, lovely primary school encourages their staff to undertake further training and development opportunities.
