Service Support Manager We are offering a 6 month fixed term role or secondment opportunity to a Service Support Manager post. The successful applicant will assist the Deputy Service Manager in the day to day operational management of the Royal Eye Unit. We are looking for a person with demonstrable experience of operational management in the acute sector of the NHS. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to supervise and develop staff, working and dealing with the public, handling complaints and maintaining effective working relationships in a multidisciplinary environment. We are looking for an excellent communicator, who has a good attention to detail and an ability to act on their own initiative. Both a flexible 'can do' attitude and a strong focus on care delivery are essential. You must be able to demonstrate excellent problem solving skills and be able to cope with conflicting pressures.
