Job Title: Consultant Radiologist Department: Radiology Location: Milton Keynes University Hospital Salary: 79,860 - 107,668 per annum Programmed Activities : 10 Applications are invited to apply for a Consultant in Radiology at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. A newly created position offering 10 programmed activities for the purpose of providing increased capacity in the Imaging Service to manage increased demand. Additional programmed activities may be available but these are subject to annual discussion and agreement and do not form part of the underlying contractual agreement. We would be interested to hear from candidates with specialist interest in Breast Imaging. The successful applicant will join a team of twenty consultants and three speciality doctors. The department is equipped with CT, MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound, Interventional Suite and Breast Unit. Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with the University of Buckingham, is a University Teaching Hospital. This allows us to attract, train and retain the best doctors. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in teaching both under and postgraduate students associated with the University of Buckingham and will also be expected to support colleagues doing these activities as part of his or her arranged job plan. Located just 50 miles north of London, Milton Keynes has excellent access to the capital whilst being centrally located for Oxford and Cambridge and having ease of access to the north.
