Job Description

Description The Supplier shall ensure that the Appian BPMS Architect Consultant shall have: * act under general supervision, act in a lead capacity and work independently on application assignments and on complex data processing problems as required by the EBRD; * a willingness to communicate and work closely with other providers as part of the wider team and programmed of work have the ability to configure complex design and detailed functional specifications; * In-depth knowledge on Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Web APIs, Sites, Process Model as a Service, Admin Console, Document Management and Integration Smart Services, Appian Designer * Prior experience/knowledge on Continuous Integration and Deployment model and Test Driven Development, Plugin developments, Appian server installations * In depth experience in reviewing the Database architecture for Appian applications * In depth experience in reviewing the design and architecture of Appian applications * In depth experience in reviewing and improving the implementation of applications according to design best practices, performance and security * Ability to lead the planning and execution of data migration activities, such as mapping data elements, evaluating ETL tools and reviewing the implemented stored procedures * Experience reviewing the application and security documentation produced by project teams for clients * Share ownership of best practice and monitor and improve performance of processes * Work on shared ownership and improve change management in Appian systems * Experienced designing and implementing in Appian BPMS on premise and cloud from Appian 7.x to 18.x solutions, including, but not limited to, * Custom smart nodes * Integrated plugins * Portal based applications (Inc. forms and reports) * Tempo/SAIL based applications * Have deep knowledge of Appian architecture and its objects & best practices both in Appian cloud and on premise installations * Good understanding of database concepts and strong working knowledge of the implemented databases, including Oracle 11g & MySQL * Experience of integrations using web services (e.g. XML, REST, WSDL, SOAP), API, JDBC, JMS * Understanding on how to implement LDAP, SAML configuration, especially with OTS IAM solutions, including ForgeRock * Systems administration (e.g. Linux, Windows), KDB, hotfixes, patches, upgrades for internal installations * Java and JavaScript Programming * Low-Code applications implementation and use of Appian for niche development; * RPA integration with Appian * take ownership of their deliverables and any issues arising with excellent analytical and problem solving skills; * apply creative thinking in the design and development; * establish and maintain co-operative working relationships with those contacted in the course of the work; * speak and write effectively in English and * Aware of the ITSM processes and support services * Certified Appian level 3 Experience The Supplier shall ensure that the Appian BPMS Architect Consultant shall have a Degree in related field with 8 years in role, or more than 12 years in role and over 5+ years of experience in J2EE Education The Supplier shall ensure that the Appian BPMS Developer Consultant shall have suitable educational qualifications, which may include: * a baccalaureate or equivalent university degree in Finance or Commerce or CA or equivalent in Management Information Systems or Computer Science; Work Products The Supplier shall ensure that the Appian BPMS Developer Consultant shall be responsible for activities assigned to him / her under the ITSM processes in scope for supporting the Appian Landscape at EBRD
