Legal Services Business Development Manager Location: Wolverhampton Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week between Monday - Friday 9.00-17.30 Williams & Dunne is a well renowned and established Consumer legal practice business and is part of a large and diverse group of businesses that operate across many separate sectors including media, financial services, legal and software development. With offices in London, The Midlands, Wales, The North of England, and India, the combined businesses employ over 450 employees, that are focussed in providing our customers with high quality products and services, that are backed up with rigorous customer service and care. You'll be joining our extended team of colleagues at our Wolverhampton office at an exciting time, as we are expanding and investing in new business ventures that will extend the range of products and services for our customers. The Legal Services Business Development Manager Role * Developing new business across the UK by providing innovative solutions to prospective clients * Ensure any sales opportunities are fully explored and converted including resolving queries * Mapping organisations to identify revenue opportunities, business needs, decision-makers and influencers * Present proposals and conduct face to face sales meetings with prospective clients * Fact finding of customer requirements, tailoring customised proposals of products * Identifying market opportunities for new products, building a business case, and championing through the product solutions * Clear understanding of future pipelines in reporting to management * Ensure any opportunities to upsell group products are maximised by providing recommendations to new and existing customers * Organise and co-ordinate appropriate internal resources to address sales opportunities * Lead generation via direct mail, email, LinkedIn, networking, cold calling and referral building Requirements for the Legal Services Business Development Manager Role * 2 years proved experience of working in a law firm or professional services sector * Previous experience working in a business development team at either senior executive or manager level. * Will be degree educated * Must possess excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills * Articulate and confident communicator in negotiations and influencing * Good negotiation and presenting skills * Ability to meet targets and deadlines * Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team * Computer literate to Intermediate level (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) The Person: We've created a working environment where your personal experience is as highly valued as your professional expertise; where your ideas and your thinking are rewarded, not just your results.
