Job Description

This is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata The post holder will work in collaboration with staff in care homes throughout Lanarkshire to promote safe, effective person-centred care for residents within these establishments by disseminating knowledge & sharing clinical expertise to empower both users and providers of care. You will be based at Law House but will travel regularly throughout NHS Lanarkshire's geographical area. The successful candidate must be a Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration, educated to/working towards/operating at degree level and have postgraduate expertise, specialist knowledge and experience of the relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures along with comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards to effectively deliver leadership within speciality/area of practice. The post holder will have completed further education/CPD in the area of speciality and will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills to enable the day to day management of service delivery.They will possess excellent team-working and leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using own initiative when required. They will be an effective listener with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Effective time management and basic IT skills are essential.
