Job Description
Logistics done differently. XPO Logistics are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader on a full time, permanent basis to join our site in West Hallam. This is a key role within the site where you will oversee both warehouse & office teams to ensure a smooth operation at site. Do you have experience within a warehouse environment? Have you led teams before? If the answer is yes, then we would love to hear from you! Pay, benefits and more: We're looking to offer a salary of up to 22,400per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you'll do on a typical day: * Ensure the smooth running of the site by meeting deadlines set by the customer whilst operating in a safe environment at all times * Oversee both warehouse and office teams, prioritise workload and delegate tasks * Maintain a good working relationship with the customer on-site, expansion is on the horizon so we want to deliver the best service * Deputise in the absence of the Contract Manager What you need to succeed at XPO: * An ability to create an environment in which people want to do their best, inspiring energy and enthusiasm in others to achieve personal and team goals * Experience working within a warehouse is essential, you must be aware of how to operate safely and effectively communicate this with your teams * Computer skills are required, especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook Be part of something big.
