New Signature's AppDev team is growing fast and we're looking for our next Technical Software Architectto join us. ROLE DESCRIPTION What impact will you have in this role? In line with the explosive growth of our AppDev business you will be directing our customers, providing pre-sales technical leadership onMicrosoft's AzurePlatform(PaaS), showcasing a deep understanding of platform services and how to use these servicesto develop innovative and realisable designs withinrequiredtimescales and to documented customer requirements.Once a design has been agreed, you will then take a delivery focussed mindset working with New Signature's Technical Teams to implement the solution for the customer. What skills and experience do you need to be successful in this role? * Strong software development backgrounds; requiring deepknowledgeof architecture and design patterns utilisingthe following Development languages - C#, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript * Enterprise design patterns * Best practices regarding Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) * Cloud (PaaS) development platformservices (Azure)and how to apply these correctly to the architecture and design of a customer solution * Is able tobuild and code limited proof of concepts using Microsoft tools e.g. C# in Visual Studio * Scaling models for services on Azure * Hybrid cloud solutions covering PaaS / IaaS whereappropriate * Use of templated builds in Azure - ARM templates. * Relational database best practices - SQL Server, Oracle * An understanding of security and threat models (OWASP top ten) * Demonstrable experience of Azure Deployments within the last 6 months for production workload * Knowledge of Dev-Ops approaches to the software lifecycle and their impact on solution architectures * Understanding on the pricing model of Azure services and its impact on solution architecture What education and certification credentials are needed for this role? - Degree Educated ABOUT NEW SIGNATURE Who are New Signature?
