GEORGE'S GREAT BRITISH KITCHEN - NEWCASTLE ROLE: Deputy Manager SALARY: Competitive. Quarterly bonus' available and extra benefits HOURS: Full time (average 45 hours per week over 5 days) Through a Menu concept developed by our award-winning executive chef, we serve great food from Breakfast through until dinner and are looking for a determined, driven Manager to challenge themselves and our team in Newcastle. At George's, family is at the heart of what we do and with our love for traditional British Food, great service and creating a wonderful cosy atmosphere our aim is to change the way people think of British food. We are currently looking for an experienced Deputy Manager (minimum 2 years role exposure) to lead our dynamic team in Newcastle. Are you a strong and confident leader? Committed to developing not only your people but yourself by working closely with your General Manager to improve your skill set? Hungry for a challenge and ready to dedicate your passion to our Restaurant and brand? If so, we could be the perfect match. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: You must have a background in overseeing the operation of high turnover Restaurants / Bars. We require someone who has deputised for their General Manager in their absence and is confident at the full operation of running a site successfully. This paired with experience in a fast paced and ever-changing environment is essential. We are driven to deliver the highest possible standards of customer service and aim to exceed our customers expectations. Going hand in hand with being customer focused and service inspired, you must be a results orientated Manager and have an in-bedded urge to constantly aim to deliver success. A flexible approach to the demands of the industry and a desire to develop your people around you are a must.
