Overview The role We are looking for a hands on Business Development Specialist with strong commercial B2B sales experience to work with and support the development and contribute to the future growth of the business. Our clients are sourced from all industry sectors ranging from SMEs to very large companies. The principal responsibility is to generate new business through self-generation activity and networking, and acting upon other lead generation channels to support client conversion. Successful candidates do not require prior legal experience although this would be an advantage, but will need to be able to demonstrate relevant experience within a professional services or suitably related environment. A key competency in this role will be the ability to demonstrate a good understanding of the legal services market so demonstrable prior experience in developing and driving business development strategy will be a key strength. What the role involves: * Managing the full 360 sales cycle - Prospecting to Proposal. * Interacting professionally with decision makers across all industries, from SMEs to FTSE100 companies. * Travelling regularly within the UK, as is the norm with field based roles, along with Phone and Video conference meetings when working remotely or from home. * Working closely with Leyton's departments and business units to ensure all necessary steps are taken to deliver work to clients accurately and on time. * The ability to work autonomously and remotely as required.
