Greenwich & Lewisham Out-of-Hours Overnight On-Call GP Greenbrook Healthcare, the out-of-hours provider for Greenwich and Lewisham are seeking to add on-call GPs to our mid-week overnight rota. We are seeking local GPs who will be on standby from home between the hours of 2am and 7am Monday to Friday. Should a patient require a home visit (having been telephone triaged by GP at clinical base) the on-call GP will be called at home, collected by our driver, who will attend with a copy of patient's Adastra notes, drug bag, and other relevant administrative OOH forms for the home visit. Once the home visit is complete the on-call GP can update patient notes on the Toughbook provided or could return to base to update notes if this is preferred. Our driver provides transport from your home to the patient's place of abode and back to your home after completing the visit. It is our experience that during these hours patient visits are relatively infrequent, on average one call-out every two nights. Therefore we're seeking GPs who, perhaps on account of in-hours commitments are unable to undertake regular, traditional out-of-hours work, but for whom this standby position would be appealing. A generous rate of 180 is offered to be on call, with an additional 90 per visit. Regular sessions are available Monday - Friday, so flexibility can be offered in partnership with additional GPs to fit around your other regular commitments.
