As a member of the P2 consulting community, you will deliver consulting solutions to support a breadth of client needs. This includes supporting client bids, the development of solutions to enhance the Company's services, and the mobilisation of client facing projects. As a member of the Continuous Testing & Assurance Practice you will more specifically support the delivery of business solutions to meet the needs of our clients. Our client base is UK-wide and we require our Consultants to have the flexibility to work across the UK. Responsibilities:What responsibilities will you have? As a Management Consultant at P2 Consulting, you will be engaging in the full spectrum of consulting activities including but not limited to the following: * Engage with P2 Consulting and client staff to provide the very highest levels of value and service * Ensure compliance with P2 Consulting Assure - our engagement methodology - created to get projects off the ground rapidly and ensure they deliver with certainty * Proactive engagement with immediate project team members, and wider consulting teams, to facilitate effective team working, create collaborative outcomes and support knowledge sharing * Support effective governance and risk management practices, ensuring key issues are managed or escalated, as appropriate * Provision of reporting and analysis, as needed * Contribute to business development, solution development, and the creation of proposals and associated marketing to support client and prospective client requirements * Active involvement in the renewal of their engagement on assignments * Contributing to the creation of collateral, the development of services, and associated marketing to enhance the capabilities of the Consulting Practice * Proactively embrace assessment and development processes to ensure the maintenance and enhancement of skills, knowledge, experience, professional insights, and competencies that underpin consulting value. * Taking an active role in networking, P2 Consulting 'Connect' events, and the personal and professional development opportunities. As a member of the Continued Testing & Assurance practice, specific role responsibilities of the Test Manager will flex depending on client needs. Responsibilities will include a potential combination of: * Test lead for quality assurance and functional/non-functional testing across different frameworks (waterfall, agile, DevOps) * Identify the scope of testing required for a release and/or project on the requirements documentation * Review of requirements, design specifications to support the development of test strategies, test plans and scenarios * Analyse test coverage and results against functional/non-functional requirements * Develop the master test plan for review and approval by the test manager, project team and key stakeholders * Identify the test resource structure, skills and experience required to support the release or project * Manage the test team effectively through test planning, design and execution activities * Communicate effectively with the test team, project resource, suppliers and business stakeholders * Monitor progress against plan across test preparation and test execution activities * Maintain the test tools across functional and non-functional testing * Management of the test environment(s) to support test execution * Lead the quality gate process, including entry and exit criteria * Leadership of the test team through functional, automa
