Country: United Kingdom Location: London Function: Marketing & Sales Level: Non-management Appointment Type: Permanent Our BAT Global Travel Retail (GTR) business unit is responsible for managing and distributing British American Tobacco brands to global travel retail channels, in particular duty free airport retailers in Americas, Western Europe, Asia Pacific and EEMEA Regions. The GTR business is a unique channel for true global brand building and with a customer base including more than 300 operations in 120 countries around the world. The high complexity and global scope of the business provides an excellent opportunity for employees across all functions to accelerate their professional and personal growth. As part of our GTR Marketing Team based in Chiswick , we are looking to hire a Customer Team Administrator. This role will be responsible for supporting two of our Travel Retail Customer Group teams, providing full, reliable and efficient administration and secretarial support, working directly with the Account Management team. The Customer Groups work with a range of Customers, including Heinemann and Dufry. The roles will be based in the Chiswick office from 1st October 2020 . Key Accountabilities * Full administrative support to the assigned customer groups including Group Manager, Account Manager and Account Executives. * Ensure smooth liaison with business contacts via telephone and compilation of own written correspondence. * Develop complex travel itineraries including flights arrangements, hotel accommodation and visas. * Complete monthly expenses in line with Company policy. * Raise purchase orders and process invoices. * Organise meetings, conferences, workshops etc. * Highlight potential shortfalls in agendas and make suitable suggestions to minimise these. * Takes the initiative to follow up on routine and outstanding matters, and to respond where appropriate in the managers' absence. * Ensures the smooth administrative running of the department, handling problems and enquiries in a timely manner. Key Skills & Experience: * Able to demonstrate a positive and flexible service-oriented manner together with a specific focus on providing a high service level to all key stakeholders. * Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision. * Timely completion of tasks with strong attention to detail. * Proven record of accuracy and prompt delivery. * Demonstrates a helpful attitude whilst efficiently managing expectations.
