We are seeking an internal communication professional who will deliver innovative and highly-effective communications and engagement. You will put the 15,000 people who work at the trust across our numerous sites at the heart of everything you do and will be a passionate advocate and ambassador for the values of the Trust. We want to recruit someone with enthusiasm, energy and talent to take on this newly created role in our team. You will be planning and delivering a range of activities that are high quality, helping to ensure the Trust's work is understood and extending the reach of our engagement with our staff to give more people the opportunity to influence local decision-making. Specific responsibilities include the provision of communications support to specific work streams in: * the delivery of the trust's strategic action plans, values and organisational objectives * the development of focused staff engagement activities * increasing recognition of staff achievements. You'll also be a creative writer who can target different audiences, savvy with digital tools, confident in using multi-media tools including video, as well as organised and efficient. You'll be part of a busy, talented and friendly team who like to challenge the usual ways of doing things and are always striving for improvement together. The ideal candidate will have experience and a proven track record of working in internal communications, engagement, public relations, journalism or marketing. This is a crucial role ensuring our staff get the right information at the right time to ensure they're able to care for patients and look after each other during the unprecedented challenge facing the NHS by Covid-19 and beyond.
