EDC is a fantastic place to work we've recently been listed as the top college in the country for our progress score, boosting the achievements our students make from GCSE to A Level. We have amazing facilities and staff and value our employees, many of which have worked for the college for several decades. The College has three sites - its £36 million Peterlee campus opened in 2009, the dedicated construction and engineering facility The Technical Academy (also in Peterlee) and our recently redeveloped land-based campus, Houghall in Durham. Houghall has been offering exceptional land-based tuition for over 80 years. Please note that lecturing positions will require a teaching qualification. If you do not hold this qualification you would be expected to work towards this while working at East Durham College.
