Job Description

For Camden Council we are currently looking for an experienced Passenger Assistant to work 20 hours per week for an initial period of 2 months. Please be aware that this role is for morning and afternoon work, 4 hours per day 20 hours per week with the option of some overtime. The role involves: * To escort and assist clients with special needs, board and alight vehicles in their daily journey to and from school, centre or other destinations as directed by the Passenger Services Team Leader. * To manoeuvre clients, with the help of a driver or escort, using the appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring safe entry, travel and exit of transport at all times. This includes transfers via stairs etc. where reasonable and appropriate to do so.
