This includes our Direct product requirements for Packaging and Ingredients as well as supporting wider business needs for indirect purchasing. Our vision is to improve Britvic's commercial position by maximising value through a creative, effective, strategic, passionate and professional team As a Category Manager responsible for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul, you will support, lead and manage all indirect procurement responsibilities in these procurement category areas covering the production sites in GB and Ireland. Under the Supply Chain Investment Programme, Britvic has invested 240m in new plant and equipment. The focus across these category areas is to now work in partnership with the site teams to ensure the right supply or parts and services to keep these assets in peak condition. Working closely with site Operations, Engineering, Quality teams you will be involved in strategic long term projects as well as shorter term opportunities all focused on enhancing value and efficiency for Britvic supply chain. Building supplier relationships, managing risks, complying with procurement governance processes & aligning with procurement strategies; this broad and varied role offers a variety of opportunities for development. What we're looking for in our Category Manager: * Basic understanding of FMCG market and basic manufacturing or supply chain experience would be helpful * Good generalist procurement knowledge and /or procurement/buying experience across a range of Direct or Indirect supply markets * Understanding and exposure to project management, category management, stakeholder management and supplier relationship management. * Excellent interpersonal skills especially communication and stakeholder management * Strong analytical skills * A flexible approach to managing projects, along with the ability to work at a fast pace, with high levels of ambiguity * Strong time management and organisational skills * Demonstrate proactivity, curiosity and eagerness to learn * Experience supporting or leading commercial aspects of New Product Development/Introduction projects.
