Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a well-motivated and enthusiastic Vetting Partner to join our Enabling Services, People Security Team. This role plays a critical part of the overall security function within Roke. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a well-motivated and enthusiastic Vetting Officer to join our Enabling Services, People Security Team. This role plays a critical part of the overall security function within Roke. You will ideally have previous experience within a Security Vetting Role, liaising with government agencies, knowledge of the UK vetting process would be a distinct advantage for this role. This position also offers the chance to deputise for the Vetting Manager when necessary. What will your role look like? Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: * Provide support and process all types of Vetting (BPSS, SC, ESC, DV), new applications, transfers, extensions and renewals. * To Liaise with the United Kingdom Security Vetting and other HMG vetting authorities * Providing support and advice to the business with guidance from the Vetting Manager and Security Controller when necessary * Maintain physical and electronic vetting records ensuring timely renewals are up held * Record keeping and controlling of Aftercare Incident Reporting * To attend internal and external stakeholder meetings * Observance of the Official Secrets Act What are we looking for from you? * Prior Knowledge and experience of government security vetting, with experience of at least 1 year in a similar role. * Understanding of General Data Protection Regulation. * Must be able to act in the strictest confidence * Organised, able to priortise own work load What can we offer you?
