Vacancy: Maintenance Planner Location: Pocklington Salary: £30000 + benefits Hours: 06:00 - 14:00 Mon - Fri, 14:00 - 0:00 Mon - Thurs Our Client: Our client is a growing manuacturing business with a global pressence based on Pocklington Industrial Estate. The role: As a result of an internal move, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experience Maintenance Planner to join a truly market leading company. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, we are seeking a knowledgeable and organised Maintenance Planner to support its small Maintenance team of Maintenance Supervisor, 3 Technicians and an Apprentice. Responsibilities * Planning of all maintenance activities on site through effective planned/preventive maintenance routines. * Support improvement of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). * Monitor and report weekly maintenance performance against planned performance. * Control the procurement and inventory of maintenance spares, parts and equipment. * Ensure that all statutory fixed-interval maintenance and inspection requirements are carried out. • Assist in the development of maintenance procedures, method statements and risk assessments . * Control technical data (i.e. P&ID's, E&I diagrams, site plans, equipment manuals, specifications etc.) * Provide technical support for projects. * Understand the requirements of the BS EN ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management system and ensure that all maintenance activities are fully compliant with the relevant operating procedures. * Participate fully and support the Agile Excellence continuous improvement process with regard to safety, quality, staff competence, work place organisation, production efficiency and process improvement Profile * NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering discipline. * IOSH qualification, preferred but not essential * Trained and experienced in the use of CAD * Experience of using computerized maintenance management systems • High level of safety awareness and a good understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act * Good communication skills - both written and verbal * Attention to detail * Able to work unsupervised * High standard of IT literacy and a working knowledge of MS Office Additional Information In return for your expertise and commitment, we will provide a fast-paced stimulating operational environment, which will stretch your abilities.
