University College London Hospital are seeking Bank 3 Phlebotomists to join the Staff Bank. Essential Requirements; * Right to work in the UK * A minimum of 6 months experience working within the NHS * Ability to work under pressure * Able to communicate accurately and effectively Job purpose; To perform venepuncture and veneole (Capillary sampling) blood collection procedures (the piercing/puncturing of veins or slicing of veneoles, which are both invasive and clinical procedures). Tio extract blood samples from patients in a manner that makes the blood sample suitable/fit for analytical/therapeutic or diagnostic testing and purpose.
