Band 5, Salary: £25,100 - £31,649 per annum (indicative banding awaiting evaluation) *Secondment Opportunity / Fixed-term for 2 years due to funding *Secondment Opportunity - Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview. The secondment request form and the associated secondment policy can be found on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages and must be completed and signed by the substantive line manager. The Candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self motivated person with excellent interpersonal skills and an organised approach to take on the role of Corporate Records Project Officer. The successful candidate will be a key member of the senior Health Record Services Management Team. The role will have responsibility for supporting the Corporate Records Manager in service delivery and quality control with particular focus on Corporate and Business Records, to ensure compliance with ISO 15489, multiple strands of Information Governance Legislation, Public Records (Scotland) Act 2011 and the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014, the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014, the Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) and the Health Board Provision of Healthcare in Prisons (Scotland) Directions and recommendations for Records Management from key recent public inquiries, particularly the Scottish (Historical) Child Abuse Inquiry (2015), Scottish Government Records Management Health & Social Care Code of Practice Scottish Government Information Security Policy Framework and the extended powers of the Information Commissioner Office. Ideally the successful candidate should have significant experience in Archives Administration and/or Records Management or a similar recognised qualification and extensive first hand experience of project support in a large organisation. As part of the interview process candidates will be expected to give a 10 minute presentation on the following subject: "What methodology would you use to support a project of this nature in an organisation of this size?"
