Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager Location: Harlow Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus, Private Medical & Competitive Pension We are recruiting a Warehouse Operations Manager on behalf of a national distribution business. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be working for as part of a team that has a clear vision of where they want the site to be and need you to support the strategy of how to get there. The Candidate: This is a great opportunity for an established Warehouse Manager that wants to be part of a team that are making a real difference to the performance of their fast paced, 24/7 RDC. What you will need; * Ideally degree qualified, with at least 5 years' experience in a management role. * Experience of managing large cross functional teams (circa 85 people) across a variety of different shift patterns. * Experience of working of communicating and working with on-site Unions. * Resource and budget management with demonstrable cost saving achievements. * To be able to clearly demonstrate your ability to engage in change management initiatives and proactively develop your team. The Role: In this role you will be responsible for the leadership of approx. 100 people covering direct and indirect reports within a 24/7, multi-customer operation. This is a fast-paced role and the department is measured on all aspects of; Service, Safety, Stock Accuracy and Operating Costs. Tom Samuel Recruitment Ltd.
