Job Description
Exciting Opportunity to join NHS Tayside! Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Head & Neck Oncology) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (with a special interest in Head & Neck Oncology) to join our forward-looking and innovative clinical team. The principle remit of this post is to provide a high quality Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery service to patients of NHS Tayside and its regional partners- NHS Highland & NHS Fife. A further aspect of the post will be to develop the profile of the department within NHS Tayside, to strengthen links with allied specialties and enhance overall service delivery within the organization. The post holder is expected to develop new service such as sentinel node biopsy for both skin and mucosal head & neck cancer. It is also expected that the post holder should have some experience in research and contribution to national data base (audit) collection.
