Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Store Person on behalf of our client Gov Facility Services. The environment can be a challenging but rewarding one and due to high demand of work this will be a long term opportunity for the successful candidate. You will be working within the CES department who deal with the sorting of dirty clothing and bedding which then gets bagged and sent to be cleaned, and then to restock shelves on their return. This will also involve working with prisoners. Duties will include, but won't be limited to: * Receipt in and check goods for the client * Ensure that deliveries are dealt with promptly and efficiently * Respond to routine queries from the Client * Input and process data in accordance with procedures, both on a computer and in paper based form * Deliver excellent customer service at all time * Knowledge of working with computers is essential * Driving company vans around site. No specific qualifications required but a background in warehousing would be beneficial to the candidate, as well as a full clean manual driving license. Ideal candidate will be able to use computers and pick up new applications quickly and also have the ability to record stock accurately. To be able to work for our client, it is essential that you have the ability to pass the Enhanced Level 1 (EL1) or Enhanced Level 2 (EL2) HMPPS Security Vetting process. If you are successful at interview, then this will involve attending a separate appointment at the prison. If you already hold a current EL1 or EL2, previous CTC clearance or have worked in that environment before, we are looking to speak to you!
