Department OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Security Testing Lead to join our UKMS team. This role is based out of our Basingstoke offices on a fixed term contract basis, with a degree of flexibility around travel required. All candidates must minimally be eligible for SC clearance. Some internal UK travel will be required for this role. Job Description Your future duties and responsibilities The Security Test Lead will effectively manage all aspects of our security testing regime on the ESN delivery programme, ensuring the workload of the team is effectively planned to ensure timely delivery, as well as assisting team members with issues and defect triage, reporting and tracking. Planning and coordination skills will be an essential part of the role as you will need to manage both customers and suppliers. Leading the testing effort will entail allocation of resources and management of work currently being tested, contributing to the quality of the documents produced and identifying product risks through the testing performed. The Security Test Lead will be responsible for encouraging good working practises and to ensure you maximise the team's full potential. Accurate reporting, collaboration with project stakeholders and associated delivery teams in resolution of issues or defects is also a key aspect of this role. The Security Test Lead will also, from time to time, be required to keep hands-on by producing reports and supporting any security tests internally as well as externally. Other activities include knowledge sharing, engaging with designers/developer to clarify features and functionality, functional and non-functional testing, defect tracking and feeding back into the development of the software testing process. Due to the nature of the working environment an SC or DV Clearance would be considered a beneficial. Basic Requirements You will be part of the Security Team, engaged to work with a small group of talented security specialists working on the ESN programme. We are looking for a Security Test Lead, to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to cover numerous activities such as: * Understanding the contract deliverables * Engaging with Security Architects * Defining product and component security testing scope * Engaging with the Customer * Engaging with 3rd Party suppliers as ESN Pen Test Framework * Planning of all preparatory tasks * Working closely to support external Pen Testers * Reviewing and communicating ITHC reports internally and to the client * Defining a Remedial Plan * Engaging with the MSI core business, to ensuring vulnerabilities are addressed and tracked * Production of testing metrics and reports Travel Requirements25-50% Relocation ProvidedNone Position TypeExperienced Referral Payment PlanYes
