Job Description
An exciting opportunity to join NHS Tayside An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing team in delivering exceptional care to patients. Ward 6 is a 24 bedded acute medical ward caring for a variety of patients with acute and chronic illness with a focus on frailty, endocrine and cardiology care. We are looking to appoint an individual to join our dedicated nursing team to further advance their nursing skills and knowledge within the field of medical ward. You will work in this highly rewarding area, within a clinical team that value patient safety and the delivery of safe and effective, patient centred care. You should be responsive and adaptable to the changing needs of healthcare and be committed to ongoing professional development. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal and clinical skills as well as the ability to work in partnership with an experienced multidisciplinary team to promote forward planning and deliver a person centred approach to discharge planning. You will be supported by a Senior Charge Nurse and 2 dedicated Charge Nurses who will all strive to facilitate your learning. Further opportunities to advance your technical skills would be available, such as ECG recording, Cannulation and Venepuncture.
