Job Description
Maven has a suite of trading systems designed for low latency high performance trading of a range of products spanning the globe. A highly efficient user interface is needed to provide instant insight into the state of the market and the state of our systems, allowing the appropriate action to be taken with minimum effort. The systems are by nature complex and the volume of information processed is significant. The opportunity exists for a UI Designer to optimise our platforms, with the aim of designing user interfaces that efficiently display and detail the data for our Traders to interact with. We expect the UI Designer to work closely with traders and developers to deliver an optimal user experience that is scalable and will allow a single trader to trade more products faster and with more confidence. What you are: An experienced UI designer with experience having optimised dense user interfaces in performance critical environments. Implementation skills are not necessarily required but technical knowledge of what is possible is. What we look for: * Highly technical user interface design experience * Human factors background * Data grids design experience * Experience in the financial sector * Programming ability and interest in front-end implementation
