Job Description
DB Charles have recently partnered with a successful business based in Harrow, North London that due to recent growth and development are looking to hire a Digital Construction Planner. The business has a long standing track record of success dating to their start out in the 1970's and the company specialises in providing a number of support services to certain industries and they offer their clients tailored and innovative services so to allow them to deliver projects within the specific industry. The companies sectors and specialisms fall over a number of different areas including some of the below: * Logistics * Security * Waste management * Operative personnel supply * Plus others For this role as a Digital Construction Planner, which will be a client facing position, the role will sit within the pre-construction team and the hired candidate will be responsible for the production and management of all on-site drawings and models, plus other day to day duties such as: * Leading the production of all pre-tender logistics drawings * Creating and managing the production of all logistics plans for all on-site jobs * Carrying out drawing amendments * Undertaking site visits * Presenting drawing proposals internally and to clients * Implementing and producing 3D modelling plans * Creating animated 4D modelling videos for projects The client is ideally looking to see CV's with a number of the below aspects: * Previous experience as a Digital Construction Planner / Engineer * Experience of AutoCAD 2D drawings * Experience of AutoDesk Vehicle Tracking * Experience of 3D and 4D modelling * Experience with the Adobe Creative suite * Previous experience of construction logistics would be very advantageous * Good communication skills * Excellent written and verbal English * An up to date UK Driving Licence * Good organisational and time management skills * A professional manner * Ability to present face to face * Ability to commit to a permanent role based in Harrow, however please note during the pandemic, the role will be remote home working to start with The role will be working Monday to Friday, with workings hours of 8am to 5pm and the client is ideally looking to offer a salary dependent on experience of between £25,000K to £40,000K per annum with a number of additional benefits and perks such as: * x21 days annual leave + bank holidays. * Health-care & pension schemes available following successful completion of probation periods We hope the information provided has given a good overview of the role and we welcome your applications.
