The Opportunity The Treasury Department is a small specialist team that utilises technology to leverage its services to in excess of 50 country offices, 19 National Organisations and 3 Field Country National Organisations. You will need to be a confident and clear communicator as you will have regular interactions with the above stakeholders. The department transacts approx. 900 foreign exchange transactions a year amounting to in the region of 400,000,000 per annum and manages a deposit book on a daily basis of approx. 100,000,000 per day. The Treasury Officer is responsible for executing the placement of bank deposits, executing spot foreign exchange deals, managing receipts, checks and payments of funds from member organisations, in addition to the preparation of field Treasury Reporting. In light of this, previous demonstrable experience and working knowledge of bank payments systems and SAP general ledger would be required. The role maximizes treasury field FX transaction efficiencies and price advantage under the instruction of the Deputy Treasurer and ensures that the 50+ countries have adequate cash funding on a daily basis whilst monitoring budgets.
