Position Summary Review of Radiographic images, to confirm they conform to specification, interperate Radiographic images to acceptance criteria. Review of Inspection reports. Look at ways of improving the works, reducing costs and increasing safety where possible. Duties & Responsibilities Functions + Review of All Radiographic Images + Evaluate Radiographic images in accordance with applicable specification + Interpret Radiographic images against acceptance criteria + Carry out risk assessments/Take II as required + Ensure NDT equipment function tests are performed according to the procedure and any faulty equipment is detailed back to the supervisor + Ensure equipment is within calibration + Review of reports to make sure detail of the methods used, results of the inspection and all finding noting any limitations / test restrictions is applicable and are correct + Carry out work in a timely and efficient manner in order to meet deadlines, changing priorities when the situation requires + Carry out work in accordance with client specifications and requirements + Keep a Radiography KPI log and issue to Oceaneering Management monthly + Processor checks and complete control data sheet + Maintain Chemical Change Log + Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems + Carry out tool box talks. + The list of duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake task's that may reasonably be expected within the scope. + Ensure function tests are performed according to the procedure on all radiography equipment and any faulty equipment is detailed back to the supervisor Safety Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment. Other Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems. Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems. Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities Reporting Relationship Reporting into Operations Manager Rosyth. Qualifications REQUIRED + Minimum 8 years experience in NDT + Valid NDT Qualifications + PCN Level 2 Radiographic Interpretation + PCN Level 2 Liquid Penetrant Inspection + PCN Level 2 Magnetic Particle Inspection + Must have good communication skills + IT literate + Microsoft Word proficient + Microsoft Excel proficient DESIRED + Held a Supervisory Role previously + Driving license + Visual Inspection + Weld Inspection + Mathematical proficiency in statistics, geometry, trigonometry, fractions, percentages. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics + Ensures that important information from management is shared with employees and others as appropriate + Gives and receives constructive feedback on projects + Ensures that others involved in a project or effort are kept informed about developments and plans + Ensures that regular consistent communication takes place within area of responsibility Working Conditions This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows. + Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night + Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place + Work surface is stable (flat) + Site visits as and when required Physical Activity/Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
