Drawing from decades of experience, Ameresco develops tailored energy projects for the commercial, industrial, government, education, healthcare and public housing sectors. Accurately process and record all AR and AP invoices ensuring that they comply with tax regulations, applicable accounting standards and internal controls. Ensure that vendors are paid in line with agreed payment terms and receivable are collected in a timely manner. Accounts Payable Key Responsibilities Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services. Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures. Allocate invoices to the correct project. Manage the weekly payment runs. Maintain listing of accounts payable. Maintain the general ledger. Review any unpaid AP invoices and payments on account. Accounts Receivable Key Responsibilities Maintain up-to-date billing system. Generate and send out invoices. Follow up on, collect and allocate payments. Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines. Perform account reconciliations. Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities. Research and resolve payment discrepancies. Generate age analysis. Review AR aging to ensure compliance. Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.
