iOS Engineer (Senior) - COOL FINTECH APP Our client is a new fintech app that utilises the open banking platform. Cool location in Norwich. The app is for the consumer market and the business is well funded. The beta version of the app is already in place. Our client is going through a huge amount of growth now is the time to join! For success in this role you will have a passion for technology and design. With a minimum of 3 years' engineering experience in any industry, you'll have been integral to the build of several published applications. Experience in agile using Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies will be very useful, you'll thrive in a feature-led workplace involving daily interaction with a cross functional team including UX, visual and interactive design, strategy, backend engineering and other subject matter experts. Engineering * Expert knowledge of iOS and native app development (Swift) * Expert knowledge of OOP and SOLID principles * Experience working with 3rd party APIs and libraries * Experience evaluating how different technologies and frameworks can be used in order to deliver the best possible solutions * Experience with unit testing You'll be responsible for: * Developing the iOS native app * Influencing UX and product design, by using your deep understanding of iOS best practice to assess feasibility and offer alternatives where there may be a better option * Writing and running unit test scripts * Quality documentation * Researching new technologies and techniques, running experiments, technical spikes and proof of concepts Quality * Dislike of hacks, preferring to write clean code over quick fixes * Documenting your code and knowledge * Strong emphasis on usability best practices and structured code Process * Comfortable working with cross functional teams, * Experience in working with lean methodologies in Kanban and/or Scrum * Ability to work in a feature-based environment * Good time management and prioritisation skills * Ability to break complex problems in smaller tasks * Experience in task estimation Libraries & Tools * Git and the gif workflow model * Cocoa pods * Fastlane * SDWebImage * Realm * Fabric Nice to have * Familiarity with automation testing * Experience with CircleCI * 3rd Party SDKs - Whitesource, Sonarcloud, Segment * Exposure to CoreGraphics or OpenGLES Really cool company here.
