Job Description
Job Purpose The Financial Derivatives team at the Intercontinental Exchange are responsible for the development of new fixed income, rates and equity related products, the maintenance of existing products, and the sales initiatives involved in promoting both new initiatives and existing business. As a member of the team you will be involved in all aspects of this process and be expected to contribute wherever necessary. The role will require you to be aware of the constantly changing landscape within this asset class, hence an interest in listed derivatives products and the changing regulatory environment is essential. Responsibilities * Support the business unit by helping develop and utilising data analytics tools to improve client interaction and reporting * Support the business by helping develop new products and trading functionality, both for new business areas and to supplement the current product/service offering * Research and understand markets, including product fundamentals, the usage of products, and the associated market structure and regulatory landscape * Identify, manage and build customer relationships in order to develop new products and services * Understand and examine relevant trading algorithms, functionality and distribution methodology offered by ICE trading platforms and network architecture * Play a role in developing the Product Development team's overall product strategy * Advise senior management of relevant market trends and potential opportunities * Work closely and effectively with other teams in order to deliver new products and services * Work closely and effectively with other stakeholders through the ICE in order to deliver new products and services Knowledge and Experience * Educated to a degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience * Good knowledge of Microsoft especially Excel and PowerPoint, programming experience preferred but not required * A team player and self-starter who is comfortable operating in an open and constantly changing environment * Strong communications skills and ability to communicate effectively at different seniority levels * Quick learner with strong problem solving and analytical skills who takes responsibility for their work and their decisions * Good attention to detail and the ability to see tasks through * Must be comfortable working in a deadline driven environment Additional Information * Job Type: Standard * Schedule: Full-time
