Job Description

Applications are invited for 1 posts at LAS (Core trainee level) in Paediatric Surgery/urology in Oxford, commencing 5th August 2020 for 6 months with a possibility of extension. The paediatric surgical department is the tertiary referral unit for a catchment area of approx. 3 million and serves the local area of Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will take part in the junior doctor on call rota (1:8, full shift) and is expected to work in outpatient clinics and theatre. This post is not recognised for training but the post holder will be able to receive the same training as other CTs in the department. There will be good opportunities for audit and the opportunity to produce clinical papers.
