Falmouth Exeter Plus manages and delivers services at Falmouth, Penryn and Truro Campuses on behalf of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter. It's an exciting time at Falmouth Exeter Plus as both organisations expand operations in Cornwall at a pace, to help support this growth we are now looking to recruit a Software Development Specialists to join our Business Applications and Integrations Team. The main focus of the roles is to develop, support and maintain application integrations between commercial products using a mixture of techniques including direct database access, API communication, XML, JSON and multiple source amalgamation. The Business Applications and Integration section are a DevOps team consisting of application specialists, software developers and a database administrator who are responsible for the support and maintenance of the enterprise applications, implementation and administration of databases, and the development of integrations using a variety of technologies. Previous experience of providing integrations to best of class Higher Education software systems such as SITS, ESD, Scientia, Canvas, Moodle etc would be advantageous. The team is customer facing, with regular engagement with system owners to coordinate support and upgrades along with gathering business requirements for integration development.
