## Installation Technician We are currently recruiting for an installation technician to work within our exciting company where we are passionate about technology and its impact on customers. Please visit www.redbeemedia.com for further information. ## ## Job Purpose The role of the Installation Technician/Administrator is to carry out system installation / administrative functions to ensure the smooth running of the Systems Integration team. You will work closely with Systems Integration engineers to manufacture and install cabling equipment. In addition, you will lead the SI team stock room and coordinate access control to technical areas. ## ## Key Accountabilities: * Install cabling, equipment and power distribution within equipment racks according to drawings and schedules supplied by Projects Engineers. * Manufacture of cables according to wiring schedules. * Supervise stocks of installation materials and advise when re-ordering is required. * Carry out PAT electrical safety testing of new equipment prior to installation and collate project asset information. * Align with statutory and company health and safety procedures. * Carry out H&S induction sessions for work in technical areas as the need arises and maintain a register of inductions. * Help to ensure effective access control arrangements are in place, helping to coordinate the access control system for technical areas. ## ## Personal Specification Experience * We are looking for experience in wiring and installation * Conversant with all relevant H&S regulations. * Experience in broadcast wiring practices and techniques an advantage. * Comfortable using standard PC applications and software. ## Why apply?
