ENGIE are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Mechanical Engineer to be based in Kingston upon Thames. This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Friday. Main Responsibilities/Duties Include: The role will be responsible for ensuring compliance checks & remedial repairs are completed across the Kingston Borough portfolios as required; this will include supporting other local contracts from time to time. In general, the role will be required to complete the following: * Commercial Gas Testing (Desirable) * Commercial Boiler maintenance (Desirable) * Maintenance, Fault finding and rectification of heating & ventilation systems and plant * BMS control changes * Maintenance of hot and cold-water services * Monthly tap temperatures * Weekly flushing of little used outlets * 6 Monthly water tank temperatures * Escorting Insurance Inspectors where required * Minor plant or fabric repairs * Recording of results in associated building logbooks * Recording all remedial action required and raising Helpdesk calls for further support to rectify where required * On Call rota, likely one week in Four. * Any other tasks that are within ability and deemed reasonable by management This is an important role with responsibility to deliver statutory and non-statutory compliance items within the boundaries of the local contract and negating the need for the client to impose KPI penalties. Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience: * City & Guilds in Plumbing, Heating & Ventilation * Gas Safe Commercial * L8 minimum 1-day course * Domestic Boiler maintenance - (Desirable) * Gas safe, Catering Appliances - (Desirable) * A/C and sprinkler system experience - (Desirable) * Strong written, verbal and computer communication skills.
