Job Description
This is a new role that will be a key member of the NEMEA leadership team and will be responsible for developing and driving the execution of organizational priorities and programmes across the NEMEA organization within the framework of our Growth Mindset philosophy, pushing the boundaries of possibility for our people, customers and society. The role will report to the VP NEMEA but will work in partnership with the NEMEA leadership team and other key stakeholders in EMEA and within corporate, driving change and transformation to establish NEMEA as the #1 sales region in EMEA. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business insight, programme management, sales operations experience, big-picture thinking, influencing skills and ability to collaborate with a large number of constituents within VMware. A disciplined individual that thrives on working to deadlines and delivering business-impactful outcomes by orchestrating teams and having the gravitas to get traction with and earn the respect of senior leaders. **Key Responsibilities include:** + Programme manage the 6 Growth Mindset workstreams to ensure delivery of expected outcomes and drive revenue growth + Working with NEMEA Enterprise Director to embed the adoption of the Account Scorecard with Account Executives and FLSMs, to ensure their work is aligned with NEMEA priorities and they are clear on their individual accountabilities in account development and driving sales performance, mitigating any risks and issues that are highlighted. + Collaboration with marketing and sales teams to determine Sales Enablement requirements, liaising with relevant SMEs including RACE team to ensure training is delivered to meet business requirements and that there is positive impact of the training upon sales execution/ROI. + Drive collaboration between NEMEA Core and Specialist sales representatives to ensure full alignment to the EMEA GTM strategy and maximise revenue opportunities + Tracking, planning and coordination of sales programmes and initiatives within EMEA + Co-ordinate NEMEA people programmes working in collaboration with HR to deliver key people outcomes such as Diversity & Inclusion, employee development, talent management etc + Support VP NEMEA to prepare for and follow up on actions from customer and partner meetings + Work in collaboration with finance to agree NEMEA annual headcount and budget planning proposals and communicate agreed position to relevant key stakeholders + Identify topics for discussion, review and set the agenda & organise content and speakers for various meetings. e.g. quarterly leadership meetings, NEMEA All Hands, Regional meetings, QBR's, VMworld etc + Co-ordinate recommendations for employee awards + Partnering with marketing and other key stakeholders, develop and drive the communication framework within NEMEA, building on the existing Growth Mindset framework + Driving compliance with all actions required of employees from EMEA and corporate management e.g. SOX compliance, Ethics & Compliance training, Business Conduct training **Experience and Qualifications:** + Demonstrates a can-do, growth mindset, always looking for ways to make things work, and challenge the status quo to drive better outcomes + Experience of working in a technology company or related space + Strong business acumen and knowledge preferably in a software company. Must have deep understanding, for example, of typical software business model, GTM strategies and technology. + Change management experience is strongly desirable + Ability to set and lead multiple priorities judiciously with a keen attention to detail + Ability to build trusted relationships and influence key stakeholders to play their part in the business transformation, holding them accountable for their deliverables + You should have a track record of consistently delivering excellent results and transformation, even in trying and changing environments, showing resilience when faced with adversity and an ability to work through problems with ease. + Works effectively across teams and cross groups to bring together diverse views in order to establish and accomplish goal and initiatives. + Has analytical skills where s(he) is able to identify patterns, process information quickly and make decisions in a timely manner.
