Job Description

The post holder is required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way. The postholder will work within a designated ward area providing a clerical and reception service, receiving patient and members of the public as they arrive at hospital. Duties include the maintenance and filing of patient confidential records, recording patient related data, admissions and out-patient appointments using the computerised patient administration system, answering telephones and relaying messages. You should be able to work flexibly in order to meet service demands. Candidates should possess SVQ Level 2 in administration or equivalent qualification or experience. Shift Rotation Week 1: Monday to Friday 8 am " 12 noon (no break) Week 2: Monday to Friday 8 am " 12 noon (no break) Week 3: Saturday & Sunday 8 am " 4.30 pm (30 minute lunch break) Week 4: Monday to Friday 12 noon " 4 pm (no break) Week 5: Saturday & Sunday 8 am " 4.30 pm (30 minute lunch break) Informal Enquiries to: Linda Black, Health Records Manager, Tel 01563 827556 Closing Date: Tuesday 18th June 2020
