Job Description

" Riverside have a new opportunity for a Journey Coach, working full time on a permanent basis. You will earn £21,451 per annum rising to £22,459 after 18 months dependant on performance. You will be required to work an average of 37.5 hours per week over an 8-week roster pattern. Who you'll be helping The Quays provides support and accommodation to vulnerable homeless adults aged 18 and over with medium-complex support needs, eg mental health, substance misuse, trauma, who are rough sleeping, homeless, at risk of homelessness or impacted by homelessness. The Journey Coach is responsible for the delivery of individual, focused support to Riverside's customers to ensure that the service promotes empowerment and independence. The emphasis will be on using a strengths-based approach and coaching methods to empower customers on their journey to independence. It is imperative to work as part of a staff team committed to best practice in the social housing field, working proactively with customers in achieving personalised support outcomes. Day to day Your key responsibilities as a Journey Coach will include: • Delivering a first class support service, appropriate to the customers' needs • Ensuring the delivery of individual personalised support packages, reflective of different customer needs, including culture and diversity issues • Assisting customers with day-to-day tenancy issues, payment of rent, claiming benefits. • Preparation of vacant rooms prior to re-let • Health and safety monitoring • Assessing and managing crisis intervention • Ensuring customers have access to relevant externals support services This post includes working a shift pattern of 07:00 to 15:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 including some weekend and bank holidays.
