Job Title - BA4 - Business Readiness Analyst Location - Glasgow Financial Crime Operations (FCO) is a global operation covering Financial Crime activities across the Group protecting the Bank against Regulatory Sanction and Fines through excellent Financial Crime operational processes.The area has a high level of risk associated with it due to the regulatory nature of the work. It is a highly audited function to allow oversight and comfort to satisfy regulatory expectations. The Operations Readiness Team will provide will deliver greater transparency and consistency of programme engagement to risk owners, control owners and senior management. You will be responsible for providing support to the established Operations Readiness Team by working across multiple Strategic projects within FCO as well as be responsible for tracking findings and actions identified through testing and ensuring they are included within risk assessments What will you be doing? Performing various project related tasks to support the ongoing implementation delivery across multiple screening applications Responsible for partnering with Vendors as well as colleagues in Technology/Change roles ensuring Sanctions policy and regulatory risks are known and managed To raise any RAID's to Operations Readiness Management and the appropriate Program Leads Assist with Implementation planning exercises and supporting technical changes Produce documentation to support the Operating Model in preparation for implementations and migrations. Responsible for arranging walkthroughs and obtaining sign off of all documentation from Operations and Financial Crime Work with colleague from FCO and Financial Crime to ensure that Business Requirements are fully articulated Use skills and experience to analyse the Functional (and Non-functional) solutions against the Business Requirements What we're looking for: Capability of finding resolutions to issues in a timely manner, confident in taking ownership of an issue and executing the appropriate techniques to deliver a solution Broad understanding of change management and governance Team player who is able to work effectively both with their own team and with others in the FCO department Anti-Money Laundering (AML) experience preferred Skills that will help you in the role: Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills A positive attitude to change is essential and a desire to solve problems and deliver solutions in a timely manner is required Self-motivated and capable of working independently when required, to a high standard.
