Housekeeper Supervisor - Richmond Villages 35 hours 9.18 per hour Richmond Villages, Painswick based in Stroud, Gloucestershire are now currently seeking to appoint a Housekeeper Supervisor to work in the Care Home. As a Housekeeper Supervisor in this stunning development you will help to ensure that all areas are maintained to the highest of standards of cleanliness and infection control, in line with the high expectations of our residents. Who we are looking for If you are outgoing, enthusiastic and caring, have a great eye for detail and are competent in managing people, stocks and health and safety, we want to speak to you! As a proactive and hands on Head Housekeeper you will ensure that our residents' care home facilities as well as our public areas and residents' individual properties are maintained to the highest cleaning standards, reflecting our luxurious surroundings and brand. You find it natural to build long lasting and professional relationships with residents and their families in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner dealing with any concerns raised in a timely and solution focussed fashion. You also maintain excellent working relationships with your colleagues and understand that your department will interact with and impact on the wider Richmond team and are flexible in your support and approach to work with others to support our whole village approach. You are able to motivate a team of housekeepers and laundry staff to deliver allocated work within the set time frames, whilst managing a set budget of costs to facilitate your staffing and orders. You will be responsible for maintaining rosters, annual leave and manage your teams performance and absences, therefore have an ability to engage with staff and manage systems appropriately. You have a clear understanding of working safely within a housekeeping and laundry environment and take accountability for your and your team's high safety standards, reporting of hazards, and maintaining infection control, COSSH and compliance standards and associated reporting.
