Cooper Parry ,
London, Greater London

Overview

Job Description

We are expanding our Technology & High Growth team based in London and looking for a game-changing Audit Director to be part of our growth in this exciting sector. This team is led by Steve Leith who joined Cooper Parry this year from Grant Thornton's Fast Growth team to drive our strategy in this space. We're killing it.... We are one of the fastest growing accountancy firms in the UK and we have the awards to prove it. We were voted as the 8th Best Place to Work in the UK by the Sunday Times, have won Audit Team of the Year in The British Accountancy Awards, and were voted Best Company in Europe in the European Engagement Awards. Why? Because we are leaving the dull old ways of accountancy behind, making our own rules, and always putting our people at the heart of our success. We are challenging grey... We are challenging boring. We are challenging status quo. We are finding and retaining individuals who have an appetite for growth and disruption just as the startups and scale-ups in the technology community do. We do that whilst maintaining the quality and agility of advice high growth companies need. Our people engagement scores are through the roof - our people are fully engaged in everything we do - from how we embrace technology and workplace design to how we create innovative and flexible working patterns that have a positive impact on the service our clients receive and on the lives of our people. Our culture is who we are and it genuinely shapes our strategy and the experience for our clients. The way in which we operate and the incredible environment we are building is hugely advantageous to those wanting to combine a career in practice with an unrivalled culture and personal growth opportunity. We are building a truly modern workplace culture... We've always believed in trusting our people to make the right decisions for themselves. From how you dress (our only rule is 'wear something') to when you work (we have no 'core hours') and how often you holiday (we have unlimited holiday). We have just introduced another game-changing element we call 'Work From Anywhere. Forever' (WFAF!). Our people now have the freedom to choose to work anywhere. Play to your strengths, we say. Create a role you're truly passionate about. Then, work flexibly to design a life that's right for you. Tired of the draining experience in your current audit firm? It's different here. Read our culture book for yourself #makelifecount About the role... As Audit Director you will be an energetic, talented and determined individual experienced in building and delivering an audit portfolio and in developing business in the technology sector. You will be committed to providing exceptional client service. You will be able to spot opportunities for continuous improvement particularly in relation to client delivery, quality and wider team management. You will be looking for a role where you have the autonomy to make decisions and act on them to make it happen. You will be passionate about supporting businesses on their own growth journey in the tech and high growth sector. Business development is a core part of the role of each member in the team - working together to develop the firm's presence in the market. As a team we operate in a highly flexible but well-connected structure, built around core objectives and deliverables, with the choice, freedom, and trust to work how you want to work. We expect an "all in" attitude to building the business driven by a passion and desire to be recognised as the best firm in the fast growth technology sector and the best company to work for in the UK (we don't think small!).
